A few of the topics and their benefits covered are telemedicine, the adaptation of the regulatory environment, and support for clinicians provided by their medical malpractice liability(MPL) insurers. The article describes the expansion of telemedicine as a positive, providing increased access to health care for patients, and that it is expected to only increase in its scope. The shifting of the regulatory space to be more flexible in the delivery of care, as well as the increased partnership between MPL insurers and clinicians, are also discussed.
