Sue Murray, is Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for overseeing CRICO HR activities and practices so that CRICO leadership and employees achieve our two-fold mission of protecting providers and promoting patient safety by building and strengthening a great work environment where everyone can do their best work.
Before coming to CRICO, Sue served as Senior Director, HR Effectiveness at UMASS Medical School with responsibility for HR strategy, key strategic initiatives and business unit satisfaction. During her tenure at UMass Medical School, Sue also served as Associate Director of HR for Commonwealth Medicine (the consulting, research and revenue-generating arm of UMass Medical School), focused on supporting the enterprise and improving customer experience. Her prior roles include managing compensation for Monster Worldwide and consulting roles at Stratus Technologies, The Wilson Group, and Watson Wyatt (now Towers Watson).
Sue was elected to the BID-Needham Board of Advisors in 2013 and served as an Advisor and as a member of the Compensation Committee until the Fall of 2022. She served on the HR Committee of the Samaritans from 2016 to 2023. Sue is also a member and past Board Member and Membership Chair of the New England Compensation Consortium (NECC).
Sue received a BA with honors from Vassar College, and an MBA from the Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management.
