Jaclyn Dunn is a Clinical Taxonomy Specialist for CRICO Strategies and performs review and analysis of medical malpractice claims/cases. Using CRICO’s proprietary Clinical Coding Taxonomy, Ms. Dunn identifies areas of risk and opportunities for safety improvement while providing a pertinent overview of care and applying applicable code sets to capture circumstances that possibly contributed to allegations, injuries or initiation of claims.

Ms. Dunn is a registered nurse with over 15 years of in-patient experience in adult medicine. She also holds advanced practice certification in Women’s Healthcare, as a board certified WHNP. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in Psychology and English (1999) and a Master of Science (MS) Degree in Nursing from Boston College (2005), as a graduate of their accelerated Direct Entry Nursing Program. Prior to her nursing career, Ms. Dunn worked as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical industry.
