Michael Paskavitz is the Vice President of CRICO Strategies. Mike joins us from his role as SVP of Healthcare Strategy and Product for Amplifire, a start up adaptive learning company based in Boulder, CO. Prior to Amplifire, he was Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for QuantiaMD, a mobile learning community of 225,000 physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.

Mike’s roots in patient safety go back to 1992, when he created Briefings on Hospital Safety, which was the first newsletter dedicated to healthcare safety in the U.S. From there, he founded the Health Care Safety Institute, an organization dedicated to providing hospitals with information, education and consulting on safety in healthcare. Mike then spent five years in England, working as a consultant to the Department of Health and the National Health Service, for whom he helped develop and launch a corporate governance program and the National Patient Safety Agency.
