Heather Riah

Heather Riah, MBA is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at CRICO. She is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of key strategic initiatives across all divisions of the organization, with direct oversight of Candello, Communications, Facilities, Human Resource, and Information Technology.

A seasoned leader, Ms. Riah has been with CRICO since 1996. During her tenure here, she initially served in our IT department, where she oversaw the development of the Claims and Underwriting Systems and was responsible for product management and customer service for internal and external customers. Most recently, Ms. Riah led the Candello division, a data collaborative that has grown to include a third of all medical malpractice claims in the country.

Prior to joining CRICO, Ms. Riah worked in several key areas of the insurance industry. She began her career at MetLife in New York City working in the financial arena. Ms. Riah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Mount Holyoke, and her Master of Business Administration, with a focus in IT, from Rutgers University.
